Cutting Edge Technology with State-of-art Infrastructure

At Core Concept, we have always belived that technolgy is saviour in today's age.We always make cautious efforts to keep ourselves updated in terms of new technology and techniques.

The Spinal Decompression System (SDS) Non-Surgical for relief from Neck & Low Back Pain

It’s a leading non surgical alternative for Neck and Back pain. SDS uses, simple yet sophisticated, FDA registered equipment manufactured by a leading rehabilitation manufacturer in United States. Core Concept is equipped with this Spinal Decompression System which is the most popular decompression system worldwide, hardly available in India. It is the leading non-surgical alternative for treatment of Mechanical Low Back & Neck Pain, introduced for the first time in India by Core Concept.

It is indicated in many & varied Spine Pathologies like Prolapsed & Protruding Discs, Radiculopathies, Degenerative Disc Diseases, Canal Stenosis, Spinal Deformities etc. It gives wonderful, promising & quick results.

Mechanism of SDS

It is far ahead of Conventional Traction Systems used till now. It is designed graphically to give guarded pull patterns of different varieties at affected localized spinal segment. The pull patterns are advanced as the condition improves. It is given on a Automated Decompression Table & can be given in both Supine & Prone Positions. It is also designed to give Lateral Pulls.

The gentle distractive forces of the SDS creates decompression, the unloading due to proper positioning improves blood flow & important nutrient exchange to the injured area. Thus along with decompression it also enhances the body’s natural healing mechanisms.

The therapy sessions typically last for 20-30 min & most of the patients feel relief in as few as 1 0-1 2 sessions. It is important to remember however, SDS works best with other Physiotherapy treatment like LASER, the Core Stability Exercise Program and Ergonomics – the Ideal Life Style for the Back, so that recurrences of Back pain can be prevented.

SIGMA Body Alignment

SIGMA Alignment is a computer-based, piezoelectric instrument that utilize an accelerated mass in the head of the instrument to gently percuss the tissue area being tested, giving the practitioner vital information about the motion dynamics and resonant frequency of the joint or tissue. The SIGMA instrument measures the stiffness of the tissue or joint by applying a light mechanical force in the form of an instantaneous shock wave and oscillating frequency; a signal is then reflected back to the piezoelectric sensor, which measures these reflective statistics, sending it to the computer for interpretation, all before the muscle can respond. The process occurs so fast that it reduces the normal defence mechanism or guarding response, caused by typical palpation.

SIGMA Instruments uses the same sensing technology that the aviation industry and engineers have used in order to test metal fatigue in aircraft and bridge spans. Practitioners can now use this highly sophisticated technology to analyse joints and tissue with increased precision and confidence.

With this technology, musculoskeletal conditions can be managed by increasing range of motion, eliminating fixation and improving functional capacity of patients through specific manipulative techniques assisted by the instrument in a precise and reproducible manner. The SIGMA Instrument enables the practitioner to analyse using a sophisticated instrument, treat the dysfunctional area and then reanalyse. This provides pre and post data which is very beneficial while overseeing the patient's course of care. It provides a method to track treatment progression that is precise, gentle and preferred.

COMBO Therapy

We have another advanced Electrotherapeutic technology which can deliver two different type of currents from a single probe and gives amazing relief in pain & swelling associated with Orthopedic Conditions. On this machine Ultrasound & Interferential Current can be given at same time as it has different modalities in a single unit. Hence it can save patient’s time by minimizing the treatment duration. It is also equipped with other advanced Electrotherapeutics like Micro Currents, Russian Currents & Didynamic Currents.

Iontophoresis

This is a therapy, which does wonders for chronic localized pain, like Heel pain, Tendinitis, Bursitis, Trigger points etc. We have a system which can deliver drug through electrodes attached to the painful spot & gives tremendous relief from pain. The advantage is its Non-Invasive and has only localized effect without any side effects.

Intermittent Pneumatic Compression Therapy

This is a Compression System which works wonders for managing vascular disorders like Lymphoedema, Varicose Veins, Idiopathic Lower Limb and Upper Limb Aches. It has different pressure modes which helps in reducing the dull pain & swelling associated with vascular disorders. It uses compressible air pockets which inflates creating compression over the limbs. It improves the blood circulation & stimulates the Lymphatic drainage as well. It is very effective in reducing swelling seen in Post Cancer Surgeries.

Long – Wave Diathermy

The concept of Short Wave Diathermy has now been replaced by Long Wave Diathermy which has a localized & deep penetration giving beautiful relief in tender & trigger points. It is another advancement in ELECTRO THERAPY.

Non Surgical Laser Therapy

The acronym “LASER” stands for Light (photons) Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a form of alternative medicine that uses low-level (low-power) lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Other names include low-power laser, soft laser, cold laser, bio stimulation laser, therapeutic laser, and laser acupuncture.[1]Whereas high-power lasers used in laser medicine destroy or cut tissue, low-power lasers are claimed to stimulate it and to encourage the cells to function

Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is the best and most widely accepted descriptor of the type of lasers used in rehabilitation. The instrument itself is considered a “therapeutic laser”. LLLT has historically been classified as a non-thermal modality. Non-thermal modalities are those physical agents that do not raise the subcutaneous tissue temperature greater than 36.5ºC. Therefore the therapeutic effects of LLLT are not associated with a heating response, but rather a photochemical response. When light (photons) enters the cell, certain molecules called chromophores react to it, and trigger a photochemical reaction that leads to desirable physiologic effects. LLLT is simply another form of energy (physical agent) that can be used to create physiological changes in tissue.

In short, the light energy absorbed into the patient’s tissue triggers biological changes at a cellular level to provide the temporary increase in local blood circulation; temporary relief of minor muscle and joint aches, pains, and stiffness; relaxation of muscles and relief of muscle spasms; and temporary relief of minor pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. The dose and frequency of treatment can be adjusted to produce the desired effect. Low Level Laser Light differs from ordinary light in four ways. Briefly, it is much more intense, directional, monochromatic and coherent. Fat tissue is more transparent than muscle tissue. Some laser applicators may cause a noticeable heat sensation, particularly in hairy areas and on sensitive tissues such as lips.

Lasers are used for:
